Who we are

This site is operated by Townsell Design & Remodel, Inc(“Townsell,” “we,” “us”), a kitchen remodeling company at 484 Tally Ho Lane, Richmond Heights, OH 44143. You can reach us at (216) 800-5146 or curtis@townsellremodel.com.

This policy explains what we collect through townsellremodel.com, why, and what you can do about it. It covers our website only — not the separate practices of contractors, suppliers, or lenders we may refer you to.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you request a consultation, use the pricing calculator, submit a cabinet or countertop inquiry, or talk to the chat assistant, we collect what you type: your name, phone number, email address, the suburb or ZIP code of your home, the scope and timeline of the project you have in mind, and any notes or photos you choose to send. If we prepare an estimate or contract for you, that document and your signature are stored with it.

Information collected automatically

Our host records standard server logs — IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use Vercel Analytics for aggregate page-view counts. It does not use cookies and does not build a cross-site profile of you.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for or store Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or card numbers on this site. We do not sell personal information, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers.

How we use it

We use what you send us to:

• call, text, or email you back about your project;
• schedule and prepare for an in-home consultation;
• build your estimate, proposal, and contract;
• answer questions through the chat assistant;
• keep records of work performed and warranty coverage; and
• understand which pages people find useful, in aggregate.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not share it with data brokers.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and agree to be contacted by text, you consent to receive SMS messages from Townsell at (216) 300-2185 about your consultation, estimate, schedule, and project — some of which may be sent using automated technology.

• Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can hire us without ever agreeing to texts — just tell us to call or email instead.
• Message frequency varies with the stage of your project. Most homeowners get a handful of texts.
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
• Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Opting out of texts does not cancel your project or remove you from phone and email contact.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Mobile numbers collected for text messaging are never sold, and are not shared with third parties for their own marketing.

Who else sees your information

We use a small number of service providers to run the business. They receive only what they need, and may not use it for their own purposes:

• Vercel — Website hosting, page analytics, and encrypted file storage for submitted forms and documents.
• Resend — Delivers transactional email — consultation confirmations and estimate notifications.
• Twilio — Sends and receives SMS text messages when you opt in.
• Google — Business Profile reviews displayed on the site, and Google Calendar scheduling for consultations you book.
• Anthropic — Powers the website chat assistant. Chat messages are processed to generate replies.
• ElevenLabs — Generates the optional spoken voice in the chat assistant.
• Dropbox Sign — Handles electronic signatures on proposals and contracts.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to enforce a contract, or to protect someone from harm. If the business is ever sold or reorganized, customer records may transfer as part of it.

How long we keep it

Inquiries that never become projects are kept for about two years, so we can pick up the conversation if you come back. Project records — contracts, invoices, and photos — are kept for at least seven years for tax, warranty, and liability reasons. Chat transcripts are kept for about ninety days. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

Ohio does not currently have a general consumer privacy statute, but we will honor these requests from anyone who asks, regardless of where you live:

• ask what we hold about you and get a copy;
• correct anything inaccurate;
• ask us to delete it;
• opt out of marketing calls, texts, or email; and
• ask us not to use your project photos (see our Terms of Service).

Email curtis@townsellremodel.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify who you are first.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and submitted forms and documents are stored in access-controlled, encrypted storage. That said, no method of transmitting or storing data is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not email us sensitive financial details.

Children

This site is meant for adults hiring a contractor. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
